rust in hot water/drain for huge old porcelain sink

I bought a 100yr old city rowhouse in feb, 2003. (see below post as well.) I have noticed all along that the hot water from the spigot in the kitchen is always slightly discolored, rust colored. It's worse when you first turn it on, then gets better. Also, the sink may be 100yrs old, too. It's a huge porcelain one with a drainboard on either side. It's rusted in the bottom of the bowl(?) and the drain is nasty. It's a big, oversized drain, though. Any suggestions on where to find a replacement?
