You probably should not have a compression fitting on the PEX tubing. You should have a transition to copper fixture fitting, or a short length of copper to connect the valve to. PEX is too soft to hold a compression joint. : I have pex pipe thruout my house. There is a section of pipe from the shutoff valve under the sink to our kitchen faucet that keeps coming disconnected. How tight should I tighten the compression nut? Should I tighten it as tight as I can or should I aim for a certain torque? Thanks
