: I have a four-month old TOTO Carlyle toilet which blocked after my teenage daughter flushed a tampon down the toilet. A plunger doesn't work on a TOTO, so what does? Do I assume we have a blockage in our drain pipe eventhough the bathtub and sink seem to drain fine?

I had a similar situation with a Toto toilet, I made the sale by telling the women that a Toto toilet flushes very well, which it does.
For three weeks in a row, the toilet clogged on a Friday. I would use the auger to clear it in about 1 minute. The third time it clogged, instead of using the auger, I bailed the water out, lifted and flipped the toilet. What I found was 3 plastic dental floss picks. The womens daughter disappeared when the women called her name.
