| In response to Re: How do I remove the Anode Rod and where is it located? | |

If you have a State Duron water heater you do not have one, otherwise it is usually towards the rear center of the heater inside a depression in the cover. : I have an electric water heater. I only have a hot and cold water intake and outgoing pipes on the top.. nothing else. Where is the anode rod located? Mine is a 50 gal. tank and have been told that it is in the top, but where? and how do I remove it?? I took the water lines off, but see nothing inside the connectors that come out. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
