Moen makes an extended stop tube and handle extension for that problem. Since this is a shower it probably does not have a diverter stem in it. : I replaced a leaking cultured marble stand-up shower with a 3 piece remodeler from Aqua-Glass. I want to use the existing Moen single divertor valve but the stem is not long enough to install the handle, fittings etc. : Is there anyway I can extend the valve by about 1" so I can install shower handle and trim ring properly?? : If not, do different fixtures have different lengths of valve stems??? : Thansk???
