If it was installed properly, there will be a vent pipe for the toilet in one of the wall. That pipe will normally be where you will run the new pipes to. As far as locating the pipes, you cannot do it, but a pipe locating company can, but they are not inexpensive. : Hi, Getting ready to plan a renovation of a 'bathroom' in the basement.
