: Hi there!

: Was hoping someone could help me with a small but annoying problem...
: Each morning and evening when my heating system switches on I can hear a banging noise from the heating pipes. I think it only started recently after I'd bled the air out of all the radiators in the house. Now it will bang for about 10-15 minutes each time the system switches on.

: If it's any help, the sound only seems to be coming from one section of piping which is under the floorboards about a meter away from the hot water tank.

: Does this sound familiar to anyone, and can it be resolved without tearing up my floor...?

: Thanks in advance!

It would be strange if the "banging" noise started when you bled the air out.
The sound could be from expansion within the piping system when it's running and the pipes are passing through a tight hole or passage. Always bleed the air out with the circulator(s) shut off for proper air removal.
Good Luck. e-plumber
