In response to Re: shower diverter leaking
: I am working on an old shower. I replaced the hot and cold faucet stems with kohler replacement stems and that stopped those leaks. The shower diverter is a push/pull
: type that leaks when it is in the shower position. I cant seem to get the diverter stem out, I used the stem wrench to undo the body but the stem wont come out I cant see anything else that would be holding it in. I dont want to just yank the thing out. Please help

You may need to tap on it slightly to "break" the seal where it meets the faucet body.
Good Luck. e-plumber
