kitchen sink drainage problem

In the process of remodeling a an upstairs bedroom i replaced there was a 1-1/2" vent stack running from the basement through the first floor kitchen up into the bedroom upstairs, at the floor in the bedroom the vent makes 2-45 degree angles with about a 6" piece between and then upwards and switches to a 3" pipe through the roof.

Ther pipe was rusted through, so we decided to replace it, we added a 3" piece protruding from the roof down to a rubber 3" to 2"connecter, then a 2" to 1-1/2" connecter and then into the origional metal piping(went from 3" to 2" to 1-1/2" because we could not locate a 3" to a 1-1/2" connector), eventually we will be switching the entire pipe to a 3" all the way to the basement , which will eventually have a toilet, shower and sink added in, but the problem now is that the kitchen sink no longer drains. Could the size changesds on the vent make this happen and if so will there need to be another vent added when the batroom changes are put in?
