: I have a plunger type (tripwaste) bathtub drain which won't function to shut off the drain. I can easily remove it, and it appears to be in good condition. : First, I'm not sure how to adjust it properly. Is the "open" position supposed to be above or below the bathtub drain? : Second, is it possible that this is an unsuitable type? The drain pipes appear pretty standard. Since the drain has a cross member for screwing in a drain cover, I'm reluctant to change to a different type. Reply: |
