: We are replacing the pipes below our bathroom sink as they've rusted. The connection between the last pipe and the pipe in the wall has rusted so badly we cannot separate them. Any ideas of how we might do this?

If the lavatory drain piping is exposed as on a pedestal or wall hung basin, you're going to want to replace the complete trap and arm entering the wall. If you have galvanized piping, an 18" wrench should unscrew the rusted piece from the wall. Use a new utility trap or the appropriate trap for your situation.
