In response to Re: closet flange - how high?
: Recently had new tile floors laid on top of a cement backerboard. After this, the top surface of the closet flange is about 3/8" inch below the top surface of the floor.

: I purchased some closet flange extenders... it came with a 1/4" and a 1/2" extender.

: The question is that I dont know what my target should be. Should I be trying to end up flush to the floor, or above the floor. If the latter, by how much?

: Thanks in advance.

The closet flange should actually sit on top of the finished floor. So, if the top of the flange is 1/4" above the finished floor, you should be okay. Make sure you anchor the flange to the floor.
