Try using a product called "P B Catalyst" It can be found in auto parts stores (Autozone, etc). You will want to flush the spigot afterwards, but we use it at work to free up heat seized & rusty bolts - haven't had one break off yet! Also works on siezed up boat steering cables :) Spray-paint size can should be less than $7 and worth its weight in gold. : Our house came with attachments on both of the outdoor faucets into which one can screw a hose (I am not sure the purpose, seems to change the "sex" of the faucet attachment). One of them is rusted on and is broken so I cannot attach a hose. I cannot get the allen bolt ? to unscrew to get it off. Any suggestions?
