: Issaquah, WA...about 15 miles east of Seattle. Here's the cite to section 807.4 Uniform Plumbing Code. "No domesic : dishwashing machine shall be directly connected to a drainage system or food : waste disposer without the use of an approved dishwashing air gap fitting on : the discharge side of the dishwashing machine. Listed airgaps shall be : installed with the flood level marking at or above the flood level of the : sink or drainboard, which ever is higher". I have a picture of a Johnson Tee setup if you need one. We installed one in our remodel in the Green Lake area of Seattle. |
