There are several kinds of "creaky" noises and each has its own cause. Pipes between the baseboard can be secured too tightly or the baseboard element can slide on its supports, for example. You almost have to locate the source(s) of the noise before you can decide if it there is a way to fix it.
: I have baseboard hot water heat. My house is only about 5 years old. The pipes are noisy. I realize that this is normal due to expanding and contracting pipes, but I feel that it is too much noise. Is there any way to minimize the creaky noise?
