A Studor vent will not work, because one problem with the lower sink will be positive pressure from the water coming down the drain and Studor vents cannot relieve positive pressure.

: : I'd like to install a laundry tub drain in my basement. Can I tap into the line that comes down from the kitchen sink above? Right now the only fixture on that stack is the kitchen sink, and it vents directly above at the roof. Pat

: You can if you vent the washer.
: An unvented washer would cause many problems.
: You can use a Studer vent though.
