Hi I have an older home, with 3 foot heated crawl space. When it rains the air often smell musty and rises through the air-ducts into the living area. The cement floor (skim coat) has separated from the inside perimeter and water seeps through the cracks beside the wall. Down-spouts & drainage have been repaired. Last year we laid down a 6 ml vapor barer over the existing cement floor. The floor seems a lot dryer but in the middle where the floor is lower its stile get a little damp. Should I seal the cracks around the inside perimeter of the crawl space or should I cement over the entire floor. (what is the best solution and what kind of cement mixture do I use for 2 inch cracks. |
