In response to I Stand Corrected (about tie-in)
: : What is the minimum angle a 2" inlet - on 3 x 3 x 2 wye - can have when inserting the wye into a horizontal 3" waste line above the floor? Waste water will be brought up the 2" pipe from sewage ejector. I assume it must be at least 45 degrees so other water running through the 3" pipe won't run down into the 2" pipe toward the sump basin. Can it be less than 45 degrees -- I've got some space issues.

: UPC specifies that the 2" has to enter at the top of the horizontal line--the wye pointing straight up.

After checking my NYS Code book, (which partly uses language from the 2000 International Plumbing Code, it does state that if the discharge from a S.E. ties in horizontally to a building drain, it must tie in on the top of the horizontal line, with a wye.
