|In response to Re: Shower valve/pipe leaking in wall.|
Thanks eplumber, Deb and HJ.
Here's how I diagnosed what I have. After replacing stems, seats and all, the leak was the same as before. By running the hot and cold through the shower I get the leak and see water within 5 minutes. So I tryed the following. I ran just the cold into the tub, no leak. Then just the hot into the tub, no leak. Then just the cold into the shower (for 10 minutes even), still no leak. None of these resulted in the leak. I haven't ran just the hot through the shower only because I haven't figured out how to do this with out getting scaulded.
So this is why this doesn't make sense. Logically it can't happen. So I have an illogical shower leak. I'll keep trying and sooner or later it's got to make sense.
Thanks again, Russ
