|In response to Re: Water, gas & electric utilities under new concrete patio|
You may not be allowed to run the gas line under the concrete slab, but if you can, you definitely want it to be a material that will not deteriorate. That eliminates the epoxy coated black steel pipe because that can rust out in a few years if it is not installed properly, and if it is installed properly, it may only last a few extra years.
: I want to supply water, gas & electric utilities under a small concrete patio behind my house. I am looking for "how to" advice for the DIY homeowner. Specifically, can I put all three in the same trench? How deep of trench? What type pipe for each utility? Suggestions for outside recepticals for each utility. The gas is for my grill, water for the garden & electric for lighting.
: Any direction is rquested.
