Your water softener has failed. IMMEDIATELY push the bypass button on the back of it to stop any additional problems. Then you have to remove the aerators from all the faucets and flush the remaining resin out of the pipes. It can still create problems for several days as the material continues to flow to the faucets. Then repair or replace the water softener.

: 2-weeks ago we suddenly lost pressure in our cold water (but when you turn on the hot water no problem with pressure). then the water coming out was orange. we thought is was rust but it left some kind of clear orange tiny beads (like fish eggs only a lot smaller) then I was told to flush all faucets so we did. then today it started happening again only worse. no matter how long you let the water run the tiny beads kept coming out. What could it be? very concern my husband will be taking samples to Water Co to find out but maybe you have encountered something like this PLEASE HELP!!!!
