: I live in Iowa; it freezes here. I'm planning to build a new home. I want to use a concrete slab with no crawl space. Can the rough plumbing and gas lines go under the slab and if so how to I find out the depth they need to go before the concrete is poured : Thanks Ask the BUILDING INSPECTOR when you apply for a installation PERMIT
