: I have a Peerless Kithcen faucet that intermittently keeps dripping - Peerless says replace the springs and seals - my plumber says he thinks stones are preventing it from closing the valve all the way and the fuacet should be replaced - what's the easiest way to deal with this? Reply: Mineral deposits can work their way into plumbing fixtures and cause them to malfunction. Dismantle the faucet handle and stem, put a large pot or bowl over the faucet and turn on H & C to flush the faucet and piping out. Direct the flowing water into the sink, then install new seats and springs. Good Luck. e-plumber
