I would eliminate the "middle man" and use a sledge hammer first. You will not damage any concrete except the piece you want to remove,as long as you start where the opening is and work to the new location.

: Thanks for the advise, I will use the drill first, like dig out a serious of holes and crack little by little. Renting the jackhammer will cost me $70 (a day) at homedepot which is too much for just one hole.
