: I have a pop-up plug and I removed the lever thing at the back to remove the gunk. I cleaned the drain and can't seem to figure out how to attach the lever back to the lifter. It has a piece of flexable metal with a few holes in it to hold the two together. I am sorry. I wish I could explain better. How do I get this thing to hold the two part together? Reply: The thin horizontal rod sticking out of the drain assembly gets inserted into the appropriate hole on the flexible piece that you described. There is a "V" clip with two holes that will hold it in place. Good Luck. e-plumber
