In response to Re: Amtrol wired for priority?
: I had a new furnace and Amtrol hot water heater installed a little over a year ago. The setup is controlled by a TACO 6 zone controller with the zone 6 priority option.

: The Amtrol is currently wired so that the heating zones can demand at the same time as the hot water which can be a bad combination if a couple of heating zones start demanding right when someone is taking a shower. Zone 6 is available so I would like to rewire the Amtrol to zone 6 but cannot find instructions or a diagram. I have the TACO diagram and am somewhat familiar with zone contollers but not with the indirect hot water heater wiring.

: Has anyone out there done this?

: Thanks...

: Does anyone have any

It appears that the wiring is wrong. The original wiring installation should have been arranaged so the domestic HW is isloated from the heating in the switching relay. The installer should return to correct it.
Good Luck. e-plumber
