: Quick question. We have a GERBER faucet in the shower/bath, with an all in one handle for hot and cold water. Recently it began to drip infrequently (and was easily ignored, but is now leaking hot water (about a gallon every five minutes--well I guess that would almost be gushing) when in the off position.

: We have to turn the hot water off in the basement in order for it to stop and have replaced the cylinder immediately behind the handle yesterday, but that brought no relief. While doing so the H20 was actually dripping out of where the handle opening is--not just the faucet. Any suggestions about what could be wrong??? As this faucet is supposed to be an easy repair/replacement of parts, I wonder what might be causing this. Many thanks for any suggestions...

You will need to replace the complete faucet cartridge, bring it to a replacement parts store to match it up exactly.
Good Luck. e-plumber
