As long as you understand that the amount is for a standard installation, and the installers, in many cases, will try to call it a "non-standard" one and attempt to modify the installation price. But in the case of a DIY installation, gas water heater replacement is not always a simple matter of putting the new one in exactly like the old one was installed. : I was just wondering before I pay lowes 200 bucks to install a gass hot water heater how difficult it really was. any info would help thanks.
