In response to Re: rough-in basement drains
: I'm going to start building a bathroom in my unfinished basement. I wanted to know about how much I can expect to pay a plumber to come in and cut the slab, rough-in a shower, toilet, and sink drain in the basement floor. The bathroom I'm roughing-in is directly under the bathroom upstairs. I know there are a lot of variables, but how much is this rough-in going to cost me? I will patch the cement floor myself when the rough-in is done.
: Thanks - papatwin

Only a licensed plumber onsite would be able to give you even a rough estimate. Plumbers that are familiar with your local codes would be able to answer your question.
For example, here some municipalities require extra heavy cast iron pipe underground while some will allow PVC, go figure.
Most plumbers will give free estimates.
Good Luck. e-plumber
