|In response to Re: Crawl Space|
: I have a crawl space which is about 16' x 20' and 4' in height... it's also 4' up from the basement floor. There isn't any moisture problem. The soil is currently covered with thick black plastic. I would like the crawl space to have some type of flooring so I could try to use the area for storage. If treated wood was used for flooring, what should be under it? Is there anything else that would be good to use for flooring? Would it be all right to place some carpeting down? If so, how much of the area should be carpeted? There are currently two vents in the crawl space. Would it be all right to keep them closed?
: I wasn't going to ask... but, now I think I will. What do you think about pouring a cement floor in the crawl space? Is it a big hassle to do?
: I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Thank you so much! =)
Forgot to add that you could probably have a storage unit built for what it would cost to pour concrete. It really is a major thing.
