|In response to Re: pvc flange where floor meets toilet broken|
: The pvc flange where the floor meets the toilet is broken. It is broken where the slot for the screw went on one side. We plan on puttin tile in this bathroom if this makes fixining the problem any easier. What is the remedy for this problem. I hope that it is easy since I broke the thing just ripping te toilet off the floor out of the frustration of not being able to undo a rusted bolt. Thanks in advance.
You should replace the whole flange so that it sits on top of the finished ceramic floor. If your tile only butts up to the flange then you have an exposed edge of the flooring where moisture can get underneath the floor. LonnythePlumber
