: i have two floors and have a bathroom in the 2nd floor. After having a shower in the morning i can drops of water falling ( as if drops are falling on a cardboard ) , but i cannot determine as where is the leak and this stops after sometime . How do i determine as where is the leak . Try this test. Run cold water in the same shower for 3 min. Listen for the dripping. If no dripping is heard then run the hot water for 3 min. If dripping can be heard then you may just have a pipe contracting and expanding in the strap, nothing to worry about. If you actually have water leaking check for cracked grout if you have tile, even the smallest crack can cause leaking. Start with this. Good luck.
