|In response to Re: Leaking fittings?|
NOrmally it will leak immediately, although if the joint sat for a period of time before it was soldered, the flux could seal it and then the leak might not show up for a couple of months.
: I moved a copper line and installed a couple of Tees in my basement yesterday. There doesn't appear to be any leaks at this time. If there are imminent leaks due to the soldering and new joints, when will they most likely start showing up? I figured the pipes would leak immediately if there were to leak in the near future. I will be covering them with drywall in a couple of weeks.
