|In response to Re: Hard to Reach leaky tub drain assembly.|
: Here is my problem. I installed a new tub and drain assembly. This is my first time doing something like this and they say you learn from mistakes. Well, I am learning A LOT.
: So anyways, my drain assembly is leaking. The assembly is not easily accessible and I want to just caulk the seam that is leaking, but I can't reach it that easily. So my question is, is there some sort of nozzle I could use to get in there or is there a sealant of sort I could pour down the drain that would seal problem connection? Thanks in advance for any help.
Caulking the leak WILL NOT work. You are going to have to do whatever you have to do to stop the leak, even if it mean removing the tub or cutting walls open.
