In response to Re: Hot Water Heater Not Level
: I have a Bradford White 48-Gallon, natural gas heater with a TTW1 Blower Vent. The unit tilts to one side, about 1" (e.g. the unit does not sit level). How level does the unit have to be (i.e. is there a code or limit on tilt)? Will this void the warrenty? Also, the vent fan bonnet is not flush with the top of the water heater unit. Can this be a problem?

The WH should sit perfectly level for proper operation. It probably will not void the warranty if you use it, (the warranty) because the manuafacturer will never know that it was tilting. You should actually shim it so it is perfectly level on top, especially with the forced vent, things should be aligned correctly.
Good Luck. e-plumber
