In response to Re: Connecting CPVC to Copper
I saw something the other day at Home Depot and it was a combination PVC and Copper coupler. I didn't look at it real close but it was copper on one side and PVC on the other. I saw these in the plumbing fitting section.

: I just learned how to solder copper pipe for a bathroom renovation I did over the holiday break, and I found it surprisingly easy. I found directions in a bathroom renovation book at Lowe's. If I can do it, anyone can!

: : I need to replace a small section of copper piping (hot water pipe) and prefer not to have to use copper since it would mean that I would also have to then learn how to properly solder the pieces together (right?). I desire to use CPVC (or some other material similar to it) since it looks easy enough to work woth .. but how do I join the CPVC to the copper?

: : Thanks.
