Remove the screws holding the plate to the faucet and then move the large mounting bolts to the alternate holes. That will create a 6" faucet. Then fasten the plate back on with the original screws. My problem is that I don't want to replace the whole sink but I am unable to locate a new 6'' center mount faucet assembly. Apparently they are no longer manufactered. Any advise?
