|In response to Re: polybutaline pipe problems|
: What kind of repair did you make that cost $750.00? Most utilities are only responsible for the pipe up to the water meter. After the meter it is the customer's responsibility. Whether you are eligible for the class action depends on when the house was built.
: : I have made repairs to the polybutaline pipe used in the watermain to house connection. The local utility board is "stonewalling" in helping me recover some of my costs ( $750). Does anyone know whereI can get info on the problems or class action law suits involving this pipe material? Thanks
I'm also looking for any info on the law suit on this pipe. I have a client that just bought a home that has this type of pipe and need to know if he can do anything about it before we close.
