Mike, did you find out the problem? I'm having the exact same problem and decided to look on the internet to try and find an answer, no luck though. Mine is a new American Standard toilet as well, at first I thought the wax gasket was leaking so I changed it. I then noticed the vent hole and saw that the water was flowing out of the hole, I'd never seen a vent hole on a toilet. Joe : Recently installed a new American Standard toilet+tank. The vent hole in the back pushes water out when it flushes.. any ideas?
