|In response to Re: Moen single handle bathtub faucet leaking|
: : I have a moen faucet on my bathtub, it is about 5 years old. Recently there has been a constant dripping from the faucet. I removed the handle and thought perhaps it just needed to be tightened. There seemed to be a white plastic cartridge of somesort under the handle. Could this need to be changed? would that cause the leaking from the faucet?
: : Anyone have any idea?
: : thanks
Call Moen and get a free cartridge kit under their warranty. You have to turn off the water and replacing the cartridge is not difficult. Suggest you get the instructions off the web.
