| In response to Re: A TOILET THAT ACTUALLY FLUSHES??? | |

: We have gone through 3 different toilets and 4 different plumbers. Our house is 35 years old...does : that mean we can't have a toilet that flushes the first : time. Even with toilet paper NOTHING else it doesn't go : down. Yes, the pipes etc. have all been replaced. Presently we have another BRAND NEW toilet in there it : is the American Standard cadet. No we don't want something that sounds loud. Any recommendations? Think- : ing about the Kohler Wellworth or Toto. Even the cheapest Toto is better than the American Standard. Toto has a large and well rounded tramway. I have installed literally hundreds of them. Tank and bowl are around $80.00, add another $10.00 for a quality wood seat, a few bucks for a sleeved wax ring and closet bolts and you're all set. I recommend replacing the standard ballcock assembly with a Fluid Master or Hunter system, about $8.00. Expect to spend $100.00 for a licensed plumber to install the toilet.
