In response to Re: Whirlpool Tub Install
: I recently moved into a new build where I had a whirlpool tub installed. The builder used copper piping for the jets/water recirculation. Two months later, when I activate the whirlpool tub jets, sodder residue still appears on the wall of the tub. Should the builder have used a different material? Is there anything I can do to remedy the situation or expedite the sodder residue removal besides exercise patience? Please advise.

The residue that you see is flux, the acid used to prep the copper for soldering. It should be thoroughly flushed. Over time it will wash away from the inside of the copper piping.
