: I am installing a new tile floor and also new toilet plumbing. Should I install the toilet flange flush with the tile floor or have the plywood substrate under the flange be flush with the tile and the toilet flange stand proud to the plywood? The flange should sit on top of the finished floor, leave a slight space between the plywood and the drain itself, plywood expands and contracts, are you installing press and stick here? ceramic tile does not install over plywood...pretty sure about this...
