The air conditioner's condensate drain is connect to that lavatory. When the blower is running, and the condensate trap is dry or inadequate, the positive pressure on the condensate drain causes air to enter the lavatory drain causing your noises.
: In two of my three bathrooms when the a/c is on, theres' frequently a sucking/gulping sound that comes from the sink/drain. Closing the sink helps considerably shut out the noise, but that's not really practical. What's going on, and what might be done?
