If it is going to be inspected you will have to have a vent, but the city/county may not allow you to run that drain to the sewer system unless you install an expensive oil/grease separator to prevent contamination of the sewage system. : I want to install a floor drain in the slab of my new garage. What size should I use and is there anything special that I need to do since there is no way to vent it.
