Personally, because it is very difficult to reinstall the drain and keep it from leaking, I always install a new one. : I'm installing a new pedestal sink, and want to use my old faucet and drain components. The faucets came off easily, but the drain will not come off. Is it possible that it is soldered on? I unscrewed the big nut underneath and it loosened the drain, but I can't see how to remove it. Thanks in advance
