|In response to Re: New bathroom flooring|
: I currently have 5/16 plywood on top of my subfloor with vinyl on top of that. I have purchased laminate flooring, which is about 1/4" and a roll of the padding for the floating floor.
: My question is, do I remove the plywood or keep the plywood? If I remove it, the bottom of the toilet flange will be just above the finished floor. If I keep the plywood, the bottom of the flange will be about 1/8" below the finished floor.
: If I remove the plywood, the finished floor will be even with hall, but I want to do what would be best to seal the toilet. Keep the 5/16" plywood intact. Use a "leveller" for any flaws etc.
