Backup in Drains

Hi All, Recently, my drain lines have been backing up. When my washing machine is pumping out water, a few quarts of wastewater come out of each toilet, bath, and shower. The washer and all other fixtures are on the same story (single-story house with laundry room). The lavs are not affected with the backup problem. What's going on? Thanx, Anna Log
