I was wondering if anyone had any advice re the above question. I live in an apartment with a communal heater for all the hot water units in the block. Their is a tap in my apartment which I can use to turn off the hot water for my unit if necessary. My problem is that when using the hot water in the shower a high pitch whistling sound can be heard until the hot water is turned off. There is no problem turning the tap off and on, however the whisting is annoying. What I would like to know is what is the cause. Ie is it something to do with a relaeasse valve in the communal ho water heater or is it something that is caused by my taps or pipes themselves. Any help is appreciated. |
