Just went throught that routine myself. It was a duplex apartment in Phila, built in the early 60's. After three different leaks, one the tennant said she heard for several days and said nothing until the ceiling fell in over the bed, I had all the pipe pulled out and replaced. Defective pipe coupled with high water pressure can keep the leaks coming.

: Is it common for copper pipes to have a pin hole and leaks, just recently repair a pipe with a pin hole that was leaking water from the copper line in the basement , after that was fix another pin hole develope what is wrong with the pipe, does this happen commonly to old copper pipes.
